PHYDIAS 2 work focuses on the following topics. Details about methods, tools and their application can be found in the pages dedicated to the publications, tools and the public case study.
Development of analysis methods and tools for assessing a selection of significant risks and performances
- levels of ground and air risks ;
- safety of drone systems;
- integrity and robustness of artificial‑intelligence components or 3‑D Lidar for vision‑based emergency landing;
- effects of electromagnetic emissions on a drone’s avionics;
- noise nuisances.
Validation of the ONERA methods on a public case
- Development of the drone’s avionics integrating the main air‑ and ground‑risk management functions (maintaining flight in a safe cage, collision avoidance with another aircraft, flight termination).
- Specification of a public concept of a delivery operation between Toulouse hospitals using an ONERA FAZER helicopter‑drone.
- Application of the proposed methods and tools to the public case study.
Dissemination of results and preparation of future regulation through participation in working groups
- Working groups JARUS, DSAC "Long Range Operation", Eurocae
