He gives a talk on the entitled "Augmented Lagrangian preconditioner for linear stability analysis of incompressible fluid flows".

The efficient iterative resolution of saddle-point problem arising when addressing the stability analysis of incompressible flows is addressed using a class of preconditioner, the so-called  Augmented Lagrangian preconditioner. It has been implemented with the FreeFem++ software, in a parallel computing environment, thanks to an interface with the PETSc library, developed by P. Jolivet.

Olivier Marquet and Luis Henrique Benetti Ramos visit for two days Angelo Iollo and Michel Bergmann, members of the MEMPHIS team in INRIA Bordeaux. We discuss about the PhD project of Luis, who just joined the AEROFLEX team and will supervised by Angelo Iollo, professor at Bordeaux University.

Pierre Jolivet visited the AEROFLEX team in ONERA/Meudon, to discuss about new functionalities to add in the interface between the FreeFem++ software and the Petsc/Slepc libraries. These functionalities are required for implementing efficient preconditionners for computing fluid-structure instabilities
