Advanced Porous Treatment, Liners and Meta-Materials For Engine and Air Frame Noise Mitigation (Second ENODISE Public Workshop with the participation of DJINN and INVENTOR)
November 7th 2022, RWTH, Aachen (Germany)
This workshop was organized by the ENODISE management and technical team with the participations of the INVENTOR and DJINN consortia. Such workshop typically answers the recommendations of the EC to maximize the synergy between the 3 clustered projects.
The objective was to focus on the thematic of advanced porous treatments, liners and meta-materials, a domain which is obviously a common denominator of all three clustered projects, since such technologies are now (or will be soon) used on almost all aircraft components to reduce noise and vibrations.
The workshop was jointly organized by the Von Karman Institute (VKI, ENODISE coordinator), the Technical University Delft (TUD) and the University of Aachen (RWTH). It was kindly homed by our colleagues of RWTH in the Sky Lounge Room of the uniiversity.
The program is given hereafter. It gathered presentations of activities and publicly available documented validation benchmarks achieved in the three clustered projects. The workshop was concluded with a wrap-up session providing lessons learnt and perspectives. The presentations are available from the public ENODISE’s web site.
