INVENTOR Kick-Off Meeting : June 24th, 2020 (on-line conference)
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Kick-Off Meetings of the 3 projects DJINN, INVENTOR and ENODISE have been clustered in the same week June 22-25 , 2020 and were held in virtual format.
The first day, Monday June 22, 2020 was devoted to a Project Clustering Session untitled "Advancements in aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and innovative propulsion systems for quieter and greener aircrafts" (read more here) gathering representatives of the European Commission (INEA : Innovative and Networks Executive Agency), the consortia of the three projects, and several invited persons.
Then the individual kick-offs meeting of the three projects were successively held on Tuesday, June 23rd (DJINN), Wednesday, June 24th (INVENTOR) and Friday, June 25th (ENODISE) with audiences limited to the Project Officer (INEA) and the consortium of each project.
INVENTOR's Kick-Off Meeting was held on-line, thanks to a webex teleconference organized by ERDYN. The meeting was introduced, by the Project Officer, with a presentation of INEA's role in supporting Horizon 2020 Collaborative Aviation Projects and rules and procedures in this context. Then, all 16 partners successively presented his/her organization and summary of the activities planned in the project. The core of the meeting was chaired by the leaders of the technical workpackages WP2 (Dassault-Aviation), WP3 (Safran Landing Systems), WP4 (DLR) and WP5 (Airbus), who summarized the activities to be achieved in these workpackages. Finally ONERA and ERDYN presented the project management strategy (WP1) and the planned actions of communication, exploitation and dissemination (WP6).
